To ensure that only your current tenants can have remote access to the thermostat
and any connected devices, you will need to...
1. Factory Reset the thermostat
2. Change the Google Home account password

Navigate to your round profile icon in the corner of the screen » Manage Your Account »
Security »
Password » Follow the prompts
Tip: For extra security, you can sign out the mobile devices of previous tenants through the Google Home App by "Managing devices".
3. Remove any 3rd party devices that have been connected to the Google Home account.
